How to know EPF balance details

Earlier getting a PF amount balance checking was very difficult. Even after updating with all details to employers, we were not able to get the correct details. Most of the time we were losing the data. Now a days EPF has become easy to check and update. Earlier we used to get the PF number. Now we are getting UAN numb from the employer. This made easy for us to get balance, wrong details and also passbook. We can even easily transfer to another company. 

To check the EPF details, here is the below steps you need to follow. 

1. Go to website https://www.epfindia.gov.in/
2. Get your UAN number given by your employer. 
3. First, you need to get the UAN number activated and then log in. Your login password will be sent to your updated mobile number and email id. You should never share the password details. 
4. Once you type the url in the browser you will get the site update. There we have many tabs. Our services tab we have sub-tab "for Employee" we need to select that. 
5. As soon as you click the services tab you get three divisions Services, Important links and Downloads. In Services you need to select Member UAN/ Online service. The page opens in new tab. On the below right corner you have "Activate UAN". You need to click that. When you click the link you will get the form to fill in your details and UAN number. 
6. You need to click, get authentication pin. 

You will get the pin number means password to log in. Now you can log in with UAN number and the password generated. The password will be hard to remember. You can also change the password whenever you required.
